upon the one from whom the secrets, which are hidden in his lofty essence, were cleft apart, | |

WA-N-FALAQATI-L- ANWARU-L- MUNTAWIYATUR FI SAMA I SIFATIHI-S-SANIYATI BUDURA | |
and the lights, which are hidden in the sky of his lofty qualities, dispel the shadows of night as full moons, | |

WA FIHI-R-TAQATI-L-HAQA IQU MINHU ILAYH | |
and in him ascended the truths, from him to Him; | |
 | |
WA TANAZZALAT ULUMU ADAM BIHI FIHI ALAYH | |
and the sciences of Adam descended through him and upon him, | |

FA A JAZA KULLAM MIN-L-KhAKA IQI FAHMU MA UDI AMIN-S-SIRRI FIH | |
rendering the entire creation unable to comprehend that which was entrusted to him of the secret, |
